HOW LONG DO THE EVENTS LAST ?

Our speed dating events last two and a half hours. If there is a party included, it can be longer.​

 

WHAT ARE THE EVENT FORMATS ?

Minute Dating offers speed dating events with focus on clear communication, sensory perception, activities, and parties. During each speed dating format, participants will pair up for dating rounds of a maximum of six minutes.

• Real Talk Dating is a traditional speed dating format where you talk about yourself.

• Silent Dating events bring non-verbal aspects of communication to the forefront. At those types of events, you don’t need to search for adequate words because you explicitly express yourself through body language, mimics, eye gazing, and touches.

• Latin Dance Dating is our salsa/bachata dance event. You will take part in a salsa or bachata workshop followed by a social dancing party.

• Play Dating is an event format where participants play different board games, including Connect4, Jenga, and Twister.

• At Lock and Key party events, one group of participants receives a lock and the other group a key. You then circulate, looking around for people who fit your lock or key. If you were successful, you could have a chat with that person for as long as you want. If you decide to move on, go to the host to be issued a new lock or key.

 

​HOW MANY WILL JOIN ?

You can expect a maximum of 30 participants at our speed dating events.​

 

I NEVER DANCED SALSA/BACHATA BEFORE. CAN I STILL ATTEND LATIN DANCE DATING EVENTS ?

Yes, of course. Latin Dance Dating events are made for people of all salsa/bachata dancing levels.​​

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE ?

Ticket prices vary between 25 €, 35 €, and 45 €. The fee of

• 25 € includes TVA, booking fee, and transaction fee.

• 35 € includes TVA, booking fee, transaction fee, and a drink.

• 45 € includes TVA, booking fee, transaction fee, a drink, and fingerfood.

WILL THERE BE AN EQUAL NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS ?

It’s difficult to guarantee an equal number of participants but we make our best to keep it balanced.

WHAT IS GRADUATE SPEED DATING ?

Graduate Speed Dating is for people who are holders of academic degrees, including bachelor, master, or PhD degrees.

WHAT INFORMATION IS GIVEN TO MY MATCHES ?

The information we give to your matches is your first name and e-mail.​​

 

CAN I STILL ATTEND IF I DON’T FIT THE AGE RANGE ?

We hold events for several ages. You should be able to find on our website an event that suits your age range but you can still join if you are +/- 5 years above or below the age range of the event.​

 

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS ?

We don't offer refunds when you cancel, don't cancel, or don't show up at an event. We only refund you when we need to cancel an event.

 

HOW CAN I CANCEL ? 

We ask you for cancellations to reach out to us 24 hours before the event per mail at dating@minutedating.lu.

CAN I PAY AT THE DOOR ?

Since we need to know who’s attending in advance because we want to ensure an equal ratio of participants, we are unable to accept payments at the door.
